Episode 04 – The Human Target Pilot
On this episode we get the chance to ask Alix (aka deutschtard) about the Human Target pilot- she was one of the lucky few at the Comic Con preview screening and she gives us all the dirt about the show, but don’t worry: it’s completely spoiler free. We also address the writer of a certain blog article who simply doesn’t get it: you’re right, you just don’t mess with Freddy Krueger… but not in the way you think. Watch out for Dollman spoilers around the 18-20 minute mark! Click “Read More” for a transcript of the interview, an episode run-through and links to the articles discussed.

You just don’t mess with Freddy Krueger “So, Jackie Earle Haley, if you’re reading, try to remember that Freddy Krueger isn’t a psychologically damaged real-life murderer – he’s Father Jack with a face that looks like a giant cold sore. Let’s keep him that way.”

This was definitely a fun episode and I really appreciate deutschtard for agreeing to and doing the interview with you. Very classy and very well done.
Great interview! Thanks again to Deutschtard for reporting! She definitely got me even more excited about Human Target, and without any spoilers.
-snort- you guys are NOT scary. If you ever want me to come hang out and geek out about Jackie and other things, just tell me to come hang out!
Also, if you all want to ask me questions about the show, feel free! I’ll answer them. and yeah, there IS action, but it’s not Action scene, Action scene, Action scene, Jackie. XD. It’s more like…. Character introduction, plot introduction, jackie, plot buildup, action scene, dramatic exposition/interaction between characters, action scene, heightened tension, action scene, climax, resolution, buildup for next episode.
…if that makes sense.
Another thing. I don’t know who said what, but I responded to points during the “interview discussion”
– you’re welcome all you guys!!
– aww, you should have bombarded me! or you can later! it’s awesome!
– *snort* you are not scary or terrifying.
– hah, it was seriously hard not to give away too much but still be informative @_@
– no, it’s worth the rest of the show. Jackie’s awesome, but he’s a side character, he’s cool, but Chi and Mark are great too. Their characters are neat and it’s DEFINITELY character based. The fact that Mark’s character saves all these people’s lives is almost like a sideplot, it’s about the development of Mark’s character and how he interacts with this little ‘band of brothers’ he’s got.
– they REALLY do. Chi and Mark seem really interesting, like a big brother/father figure type guy.
– honestly, there’s like…. in the first episode there’s I think 3-4 action scenes, there’s lots of dramatic things and buildup and a little backstory on the characters he’s helping and the character himself and how he got there, etcetera. And there’s only like one explosion!

there you go. XD;
