We know it has been a while but we are finally back! We are trying some new things and we’re slowing down a little bit, but we are still here. (Warning: due to the technical difficulties we have mentioned before, this episode might be a little buzzy/glitchy) So, check out the new episode to find out who won the contest, our answers to the listener’s questions and some general JEH news.

00:27 – We’re back!
- We are switching to a new schedule until Human Target premieres.
- Heads up: All The King’s Men is on Hulu!

02:00 – Who Runs Paramount? Winner
- Contest Plug
- Winner Entry. Congratulations Liz Hatter!: “Just received news that Paramount has pushed back release date of “Shutter Island”. Disappointed. Was looking forward to seeing it. Just proves theory that Paramount is run by sparkly vampires who don’t want to share limelight. Depressing. Non-sparkly vampires, like coke in green glass bottles…they don’t make them anymore.”
- Runner Up (pay attention, we have a little surprise for you!) V.V.!: “Cold this morning. Summer movie season finished- Hollywood liberals glutted on half-naked women, offering sober fare so can congratulate themselves on vision and truth. One film postponed- why? Reveals conspiracies behind so-called psychoanalysis? Or worse? Run across one name too often- Judi Dench. In 1998 won Oscar for eight minutes of screen time, shortest winning performance ever. Afraid Jackie Earle Haley will break her record? Using title and gravitas to manipulate Oscar line-up? Must investigate further.”

05:10 – Listener Questions
- Mia’s question: ” I remembered doing those assignments in elementary school where there would be a half finished drawings of some animal or thing and the purpose is for the student to draw the other half. I was wondering what Walter would’ve done if he had the assignments; would he draw the other half correctly or draw something else? If so, what?”
- V.V.’s question: “if you were Jackie’s agent, what parts would you try to get for him, what directors or other actors would you most like to see him work with and why? I’d like to see what would happen if Jackie worked with Guillermo del Toro or Paul Thomas Anderson. And it’d be awesome if Jackie did another project that showcased his comedic talents as well as his dramatic- in particular I for some reason want to see him do something with Rainn Wilson.”

09:10 – The Sinestro casting rumor
- Is this really happening? Could it?
- A little info on Sinestro by Theresa (she knows stuff).

11:30 – Freddy action figures!
- Was it a mistake to release them so early?
- We need more Jackie Earle Haley action figures!

13:45 – Erin pitches her Bad News Bears sequel idea!

15:30 – The Scream Awards
- What happened?!
- Shame on those who didn’t vote.

17:22 – Yep, that is a Human Target sound clip.

17:58 – Human Target is only a month away!
- We hope it gets picked up for more episodes.

19:20 – We are excited about Nightmare on Elm Street. Really.

20:00 – What a year it has been

  1. Dai says:

Good to see you guys up and running again :)

Great episode, as per usual, loved the new intro music, and I would say ‘I’d watch it’ in response to the BNB sequel idea, but that would be redundant considering what podcast this is.

  2. Puina says:

;) I think we would all watch it and it would be awesome.

Yes, it took us a while but we’re back and we’ll have some new stuff to make up for the absense. Thank you for waiting and sticking by! :)
